Brief Message: This website is an ongoing project for me, and my intentions are to offer as much information about Lyme Disease and living with Lyme Disease as I can.  My email inbox currently has over 400 messages that I still need to sort through in hopes of finding more tidbits and doctors to add to this site.  My final goal is to turn this into a non-profit organization, but right now it's only one person (me) doing everything and I am fighting my own battle with Lyme as it is.  Please email me any information that I can add to this website to make it a true Lyme Disease Portal, and please check back often because I am determined to make this happen.

As of right now, the Lyme Project does not have an office or an 800# or anything like that since it's only me, but I will offer my cell phone number if anyone needs someone to talk to, I understand sometimes just having someone to talk to who understands can lift one's spirits. It would be best to call me in the evenings between 9:00pm and 11:00pm EST and any time on Saturday or Sunday -- I have unlimited minutes at those times.  Since I only have a limited number of daytime minutes, I wouldn't be able to talk to someone during the weekday.

I am working on several projects right now for the Lyme Project, one being getting all the NPO paperwork together.  I'm also trying to compile a list of celebrities that were born in or live in NJ, NY, or CT since those are the 3 worse states for Lyme, and I'm hoping the celebrities would be willing to put something in their fan club packet to help raise Lyme awareness.  I also want to see what I can do about getting publicity and ongoing media attention so I can share my story and educate people and in turn help everyone who suffers with Lyme.
